Growing up all I ever wanted to do was to play for my local club so when I signed my first professional contract for the Tigers at 18 it was a dream come true.
To go on and do that 273 times, 44 of them alongside my brother Brett, in massive games all over Europe and alongside so many great players, was a huge honour. I was fortunate that I won everything there was to win in the game: Six Premiership titles, backto- back Heineken Cups and a Six Nations title. I wouldn’t change anything for the world.
