WITH the league wrapped up and the trophy perched in Exeter’s cabinet, attention turned to the Cup, starting with the round of last 16.
Byes were afforded to the top five placed in Super Rugby, leaving Loughborough, Bath, Durham and Nottingham Trent to battle it out with Newcastle and newly promoted Cardiff for a quarter-final berth.
