MORE drunken behaviour during Wales-Italy last weekend has strengthened the perception of the world’s finest city-centre stadium as a place fast doubling up as Britain’s largest public house.
An incident which resulted in the destruction of two reporters’ laptops in the lower tier Press box has prompted renewed calls for the closure 15 minutes before kick-off of the stadium’s bars, all 17 of them.
Despite growing anecdotal evidence of increasing drunkenness, the WRU have repeatedly failed to take preventative action.
