All week there were adverts on television proclaiming that the Six Nations was the best rugby tournament in the world, a claim that doesn’t really stand up against the Rugby World Cup, but when you look at the numbers of viewers, and the attendances at the stadia, it’s right up there. However, I think the organisers and broadcasters get a bit carried away, and it’s time for some realism.
