EXETER CHIEFS are giving a trial to former Western Force back row Onehunga Havili but could run into problems signing the Tongan international.
The 22-year-old, who has won two international caps, is playing for Queensland Country in Australia’s National Rugby Championship after leaving the Force.
But Blindside understands that he needs to win more international caps to quality for a United Kingdom work permit.
Chiefs director of rugby Rob Baxter is keen to take an extended look at Havili who plays at No.8 as well as on the wing.
