DARLINGTON Mowden Park maintained their 100 per cent record in a very close contest with a Caldy side who pushed them all the way.
The opening minutes of the game set the standard as both teams produced some end-to-end rugby, thoroughly entertaining the decent crowd in attendance.
Darlington opened the scoring through winger Shaun McCartney who powered over in the corner and it was converted by flyhalf Garry Law.
Caldy responded when their electric full-back Mark Dixon pierced the home defence for the try.
