BORDEAUX’S search for a winger for next season has seen them make enquiries about the availability of Newcastle ace Vereniki Goneva, right.
Blindside has learnt that the Top 14 outfit are keen on the former Leicester man who also plays at centre. He is on a list of potential targets even though he will be celebrating his 34th birthday before the end of the current season.
The Fijian, who was named in the 2013-14 Premiership Dream Team, has been playing for the Falcons since leaving the Tigers two years ago.
