RFU: Players knew their contracts would end

IN relation to the article ‘World Cup stars left high and dry by RFU’ there are a number of points we would like to clarify.
The article stated ‘many of the women’s player gave up their jobs or turned down employment opportunities in order to dedicate their lives to retaining the World title’ and ‘are now scrambling to find jobs’.
