Ford set to extend his French stay

MIKE FORD is a surprise name in the running to be named as the new head coach of French Top 14 outfit Bayonne next season.
Ford is in charge of Toulon until the end of the season but will then be departing the club and has been looking for another job.
The former Bath director of rugby had been linked with a return to the Premiership with Gloucester, but that appears to have no substance to it.
Blindside understands that there is some interest in him from Bayonne who will be looking for a new head coach this summer.
