FORMER England flyhalf Toby Flood is a target for French club Bordeaux, who want to scupper a return to Newcastle Falcons by keeping him in the Top 14.
Flood is set to leave Toulouse when his contract runs out this summer and has been an option for a number of Premiership clubs.
He was close to agreeing terms with Worcester until they pulled the plug at the last minute, and has been speaking to Falcons supremo Dean Richards.
But a source in France has told Blindside that Flood, 31, is keen to stay across the Channel if he can find another club.
