Cockerill courted by rival clubs in Top 14

FORMER Leicester boss Richard Cockerill is on the radar of several French clubs after moving to France to work with Mike Ford at Toulon.
Cockerill was offered a contract until the end of the season by Toulon just four days after he was sacked by the Tigers and is highly thought-of in France.
The former England hooker, 46, is fluent in French after spending two seasons playing for Montferrand and has been linked with Top 14 coaching roles in the past.
Closer to home, it is understood Edinburgh were keen on him taking over from interim head coach Duncan Hodge next season.
