Having lost one of the most dramatic World Cup finals the game has ever seen, England head coach Simon Middleton was proud of his players, knowing how hard they had worked in the build up to and throughout the tournament.
He said: “Pride is the overwhelming feeling. We gave absolutely everything over 50 days.The red card didn’t help, it’s tough with 14 players for that long.
