Ruby Tui ran in four tries as world champions New Zealand bounced back from defeat to hammer Wales 70-7 in Dunedin.
The Black Ferns fell to a one-point loss against France in their opening WXV 1 match and were intent on ensuring there would be no repeat.
After a tight first ten minutes, the home side cut loose, with five tries in 16 minutes to race into a 27-0 lead inside half an hour, Tui grabbing four of them.
