Strange ending adds to Crusaders’ misery

The Crusaders suffered yet another sucker punch in their nightmare season with a last-minute 31-24 loss to the Brumbies.
Given their turgid record of two wins in 11 heading into this weekend, it seemed Rob Penney’s first season in charge of the Crusaders couldn’t get worse.
But having scored 10 points to draw level in the last 10 minutes, the Crusaders were forced to watch Noah Lolesio line up an 83rd minute penalty from the touchline to win the game.
