FRANCE got their campaign back on track with a nine-try demolition of Scotland in last night.

The hosts had all the possession in the early stages of the game but handling errors stopped them in their tracks and they had to wait until midway through the half to open the scoring.

After some good build up work, No.8 Safi N’Diaye used her strength to score in the corner.

The conversion attempt was off target but France had their second try with Shannon Izar at the end of a sublime first phase move from the back line.

It made it 10-0 as the conversion was once again missed but there was no missing the third after Lénaïg Corson powered through to score under the posts.

Leading 17-0 at the break, it took France only 45 seconds of the second half to wrap up the bonuspoint after N’Diaye broke through before offloading to Elodie Poublan who resisted two defenders to touch down.

A fine run and hand off by Elodie Guiglion saw the French notch their fifth while a quick brace from electric -half Jade Le Pesq took the try-tally to seven.

France’s fine showing was rewarded by getting over the half-century with Caroline Ladagnous and Camille Cabalou completing the rout in the last 20 minutes.
