Steve Borthwick finished his first World Cup campaign as England head coach and immediately put his business head back on after the 26-23 win over Argentina.
Ireland, France and Scotland – all above England in the rankings before this World Cup – lie in wait next spring and Borthwick has already started plotting for that tournament. He said: “I’ve already started looking forward to the Six Nations. That’s already started in my mind and my planning, the very early stages.
