George urges RFU to listen to old boys

Jamie George has urged the RFU to listen to England’s seasoned internationals before rubber-stamping proposals over new playing contracts.
Twickenham chiefs have said around 25 hybrid deals will be available for players to give head coach Steve Borthwick more input into conditioning and playing minutes inching towards cricket-style central contracts.
A new Professional Game Board agreement is due next year which also handles issues such as player release is due to be announced next year following the expiry of the current one.
