Italy continued their excellent preparation for the World Cup as Monty Ioane scored a terrific hat-trick against Japan.
The hosts made the perfect start as Paolo Garbisi scythed through the Japanese defence before feeding Stephen Varney for the opener.
Jone Naikabula scored from range to narrow the gap to two, but Ange Capuozzo kicked through for Ioane who scored his first and gave the Azzurri a two-score lead.
