Kolisi a major World Cup doubt

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi may miss this year’s World Cup with a knee injury sustained playing for the Sharks against Munster.
Kolisi suffered a partial ACL tear that typically involves a nine-month recovery process if surgery is undertaken.
Reports coming out of South Africa last night suggested that Kolisi has undergone surgery.
South Africa, who name their final 33-man squad on August 8, begin their title defence against Scotland on September 10. The Boks are in Pool B with Ireland, Scotland, Tonga and Romania.
