Borthwick in under Murphy

LEICESTER Tigers will be waiting for England’s World Cup campaign to finish so they can finalise a reshuffle of their coaching staff. The Tigers have approached England forwards coach Steve Borthwick about moving to Welford Road once the World Cup comes to an end.
Blindside understands the senior coaching role he has been offered is that of head coach. We have been told that current head coach Geordan Murphy will be promoted to director of rugby with Borthwick, who has worked for England since 2015, slotting in below him.
