Japan players will be humble even if they beat the Boks

NEVERMIND the so-called Miracle of Brighton in 2015, when Japan stunned South Africa with their lastminute 34-32 win, Japan’s players are more concerned about the Crushing at Kumagaya.
The Springboks thrashed the Brave Blossoms 41-7 in Kumagaya, north of Tokyo, last month in a World Cup warm-up. That result is at the forefront of Japanese minds ahead of their quarter- final, rather than the upset on the south coast of England four years ago.
