WALES face Georgia at the City of Toyota Stadium on Monday and the venue is eerily similar to Cardiff ‘s Principality Stadium as it has a roof and four huge spikes at each corner.
But, unlike the Welsh capital, the roof in the Japanese city doesn’t work as the operating costs of moving it back and forth are too high for the local authorities to cope with.
It means tomorrow’s game will be open to the elements.
One positive of that was it meant the media could avoid asking the sorts of questions about the roof which normally dominate games in Cardiff.
