Piano man Patchell gets in tune

Musical: Rhys Patchell

CHOIRMASTER Rhys Patchell couldn’t contain his joy after finding a piano at Wales’ team hotel in Toyota.
The talented fly-half taught himself to play and also led the side in their practice singing runs for the opening ceremony where Wales performed Calon Lan.
Patchell used to sing in a Welsh choir before becoming a professional rugby player. When Wales practiced their singing with Bryn Terfel before leaving for Japan Patchell was the main man.
