Roll up for £34 scarves

THE World Cup Megastore in Tokyo’s Shinjuku district was doing a roaring trade on Friday afternoon as fans flocked into the capital ahead of the tournament.
Punters were shelling out £38 for toddlers’ rugby shirts, £36 for T-shirts, £34 for official scarves and £57 for hoodies.
An RWC towel came in at £28 and supporters parting with their cash were interviewed by local TV crews.
The tournament had started.
