Pumas target a victory over France to kick-start challenge

ARGENTINA have dropped to 11th in the world rankings following nine consecutive Test defeats – but head coach Mario Ledesma remains optimistic they can cause an upset and secure a place in a fourth successive quarter-final.
Leedesma says the Pumas will put everything into their opening match against France on September 21, a team they have beaten ten times in their last 16 meetings.
“Our objective is to pass the first phase. From there other objectives will appear,” Ledesma said.
