INJURIES have robbed Ireland of a number of players but Peter Malone is still hoping his side can rise to the challenge.
The Irish will be without fly-halves Bill Johnston and Johnny McPhillips plus flanker Cillian Gallagher, who were key figures in their run to a first-ever final appearance in Manchester against England last year. Two other players ruled out through injury are winger Jordan Larmour and centre Tommy O’Brien.
