ENGLAND Women’s Sevens team will face Ireland in the Cup quarter-finals despite a late hiccup in the pool stages.
After defeating Germany and Sweden in their first two matches, England found themselves swamped by a Russian team who surprised many with their attacking play. In fact, England’s solitary try was the only one Russia conceded en route to topping the pool with a 24-5 win.
