ENGLAND took on the USA in a pool-decider last night after winning their opening two games of the Las Vegas Sevens.
Following their final in Sydney four weeks ago, Simon Amor’s men, who sit second in the overall table behind the impressive South Africans, were looking to go one better at the Sam Boyd Stadium and it showed with wins over Chile and Samoa on Friday, They started with a comfortable five-try 31-5 victory over Chile despite conceding the opening try.
