IRELAND started their season with an impressive six-try win in Belfast with back row Aoife Wafer scoring a try in each half in a player of the match performance.
Scott Bemand took over the side last July after Ireland finished with the 2023 Six Nations woooden spoon and this was another huge step forward under his stewardship.
They started brilliantly scoring after just five minutes through Aoife Dalton with the centre picking a lovely attacking line.
