WALLAROOS coach Jay Tregonning has set his team the goal of reaching the Rugby World Cup quarterfinals after a much improved performance against New Zealand yesterday.
After a 52-5 humilation in Christchurch, Australia fronted up physically in Adelaide.
New Zealand retained the Laurie O’Reilly Cup and have now won all 22 Tests played against their trans-Tasman rivals.The same two teams square off in the World Cup opener at what is expected to be a sold out Eden Park on October 8.
