LUTON beat Midlands 2 East (North) runners-up Matlock 35-22 at Newlands last weekend to gain promotion.
Ben Murphy, Jake Hobbs, Jordan Davies and Ryan Staff scored Luton’s tries while Rik Hobbs converted three penalties.
Dan Hooton, Luke Howard and Ben Neville scored tries for Matlock, with Tom Morton adding two conversions and a penalty.
