DYLAN Hartley’s “outstanding” leadership has earned him the right to captain England through to the 2019 World Cup, according to former Red Rose hooker Mark Regan.
England’s 2-0 series win in Argentina makes Hartley, 31, the most successful Red Rose skipper of the professional era, surpassing the winning records of Will Carling, who bridged the amateur and professional years, and 2003 World Cup winner Martin Johnson.
