Breakfast in the local… a light-hearted look at how the Lions unite the country

Across the country yesterday, they arrived in their new red shirts, with their new hips and knees and old cauliflower ears to resurrect the great fouryearly tradition of the Lions pub breakfast. There were some ladies, too.
It was no different in East Molesey’s Royal Oak, an Elliot Daly kick away from Esher rugby club, and run by former second row forward Geoff ‘Shrek’ Nordemann, who, legend has it, taught the young Zinzan Brooke to kick drop-goals during his brief spell with Old Surbi...
