AWAY wins are still hard to come by in the Top 14. Last weekend out of seven fixtures there was one away win – Racing at Montpellier – and a draw when leaders Clermont travelled to Grenoble.
Elsewhere it was home rule, including huge wins for Lyon against Stade Francais (41-6), Toulouse over Bordeaux Begles (40- 0) and champions Castres against Pau (37-10).
It explains why when it comes to competitive, close fought matches the Premiership is a league ahead of their French counterpart.
