Leigh Halfpenny bowed out of international rugby to a standing ovation from the Cardiff crowd after kicking five from five in Wales’ 49-26 win over the Barbarians.
Full-back Halfpenny, 34, who won 101 caps for Wales and featured in four Tests for the Lions left the Scarlets in the summer and is now set for a new adventure in New Zealand with defending Super Rugby Pacific champions the Crusaders.
The signing of Halfpenny is expected to be announced in the next few days by the club, who will be chasing an eighth straight Super Rugby title this season.
