Powell aims to prove her time is now

Connie Powell believes she now has what it takes to become England’s first choice hooker and has moved to Harlequins for consistent game time.
The 23-year-old lifted the Premier 15s title in June after Gloucester-Hartpury beat Exeter Chiefs 34-19 in the final.
She scored six tries in 15 appearances last season, but faced stiff competition from Wales hooker Kelsey Jones and Ireland’s Neve Jones.
A move to Harlequins should provide her with much needed game time to prove to England selectors that she should be in the running for first choice.
