LEAH Lyons’ early red card proved pivotal as Wasps claimed a hardearned bonus-point win at Twyford Avenue.
Lyons was dismissed in the 13th minute for a dangerous tackle in a game Sale had begun well, and though they mounted a heroic rearguard, Wasps eventually made the extra player tell, Heather Kerr leading the way with two tries.
