RED ROSES duo Sarah Hunter and Emily Scarratt were both on target to consign Sale Sharks to defeat against play-off bound Loughborough.
England captain Hunter touched down under the posts after Sale were overpowered at a scrum on their fivemetre line to cough up a penalty to Lightning, whose pack made up ground again at the following scrum for the veteran No.8 to score.
Vice-captain Scarratt went over on 14 minutes, this time through some fluid play from the backline as Lizzie Gouldon broke clear before feeding Scarratt for the try.
