BRISTOL BEARS overcame Sale Sharks to extend their winless start to the Premier 15s season, but it was through no lack of effort by the hosts.
The Sharks defence was forced to work hard early on as the Bears pushed towards the Sale try-line through a break from second row Natalia John. The Bears were rewarded as Phoebe Murray crashed over.
