Jess Breach and Ellie Kildunne have launched their new podcast Rugby Rodeo with one ambition in mind – to grow the profile of the women’s game.
Research published by the Women’s Sport Trust found that 63 per cent of rugby union fans are unable to name a Red Roses player.
That figure will fall if players engage in self-promotion, a tactic which has become paramount to expanding the women’s game, especially with England on a remarkable 18-match win streak ahead of the home World Cup which is 11 months away.
