Leicester Tigers’ claimed their first victory of the season last Sunday as Vicky Macqueen’s newcomers broke their duck with a 22-19 win at Sale Sharks.
Macqueen’s side lost all three of their Allianz Cup pool stage encounters before losing their first seven Women’s Premiership outings, despite numerous encouraging displays.
However, Leah Bartlett’s 77th minute winner secured their first triumph in the big leagues prompting emotional scenes on the sidelines.
