Merthyr stretch lead at the top

LEADERS Merthyr moved seven points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand after their 52-13 win on the road at Cardiff Met.
Dafydd Land and Fin Baker both bagged braces for the Ironmen to set up their comfortable eighttry victory. Aled Evans, Ryan Hughes, Adam Hoskins and a penalty try were also on the scoresheet for the visitors. Ben Jones kicked four conversions and Jacob Lloyd one.
At the other end of the table, Narberth moved out of the relegation zone with a 39-28 home victory over Brecon.
