A LAST kick of the match penalty from Lawrence Thomas snatched a famous 24-22 win for Bonymaen over league leaders Pontypridd – a result that could also prove to be a hammer blow to the Valley Commandos’ Premiership title hopes.
Thomas’ kick for goal came just moments after replacement Rob Jones had scored a fourth Ponty try which went unconverted to put them 22-21 up with just seconds remaining.
But it was the hosts – and their outside-half Thomas – who had the final say.
