MERTHYR got the better of Brecon 47-37 at the Wern as the sides served up a pre-Christmas cracker in the Welsh Premiership.
In a game where the lead changed hands several times, two converted tries within the space of three minutes around the hour mark from Morgan Meaclem and Jacob Lloyd eventually swung the match Merthyr’s way.
