Meanwhile having started the season with back-to-back wins, Newbridge slipped to their first defeat of the campaign, beaten 25-13 at home by Neath.

Ki Morgan, twice, and Kieran Charles scored the Neath tries. Steff Williams kicked two conversions and two penalties.
