THE top of the table clash in Championship East went the way of Bargoed who won 40-25 at leaders Cardiff Met.
Morgan Edwards, Ollie Andrews, James Leadbeater, Dylan Williams and Ashley Norton all dotted down in a five-star showing for Bargoed. Josh Prosser kicked three conversions and three penalties.
It’s a win that moves Bargoed to within a point of Met with two games in hand and could be a significant blow in the title race.
Zak Roberts, Olly James and Will Owen scored for Met, with two conversions and two penalties from Ross McKay.
