A STUNNING hattrick from full-back Ben Jones inspired Merthyr to a magnificent seven-try 50-32 win over Bridgend Ravens – to also bag a first win under the guidance of Ian Evans and Gareth Davies.
The experienced pair assumed the role of head coach last month for the remainder of the season following the departure of Rowland Phillips.
Merthyr had their bonus point in the bag before the break with tries from outside-half Josh Lewis, wing Lloyd Rowlands, flanker Chad Thomas and star of the show Jones.
