Captain’s return helps Ystrad get back on track

CHAMPIONSHIP East leaders Ystrad Rhondda got back to winning ways after their defeat at Bedwas a fortnight ago by seeing off Treorchy 33-6 for their ninth league win.
Captain Jarrad Llewellyn in the back row and hooker Corben Evans scored two tries apiece for the table toppers, who were also awarded a penalty try.
Cardiff Met moved up to second place after they hit Glamorgan Wanderers for six, 36-17. Max Surry was at the double with Chris Johnson, Connor Chapman, Zak Roberts and Osian Hill also on the scoresheet. Ross McKay kicked three conversions.
