RUMNEY second row Tom Rogers was the hero as he scored twice at Riverside Park to steer the home side to a 24-23 win over Bedwas in Admiral Championship East.
The visitors drew first blood with the first of their two tries, but Rogers’ brace ensured Rumney were leading 1710 at the break. Back row man Alfy Johnson made it a hat-trick of home tries and Jake Hillman added a conversion.
