TWO ancient Cardiff rivals will battle it out for the Division 1 East Central title after St Peter’s beat Rumney 31-28.
Having won 12-5 at Rumney on the opening day of the season, The Rocks did the double scoring five tries as they closed the gap at the top to three points with a game in hand on their neighbours.
Rumney still top the table and will complete their season at Rhydyfelin on 17 May. St Peter’s host St Joseph’s the night before and then head to Rhydyfelin on Saturday.
